Why HIV?

People probably wonder why we want to adopt children with HIV. These children simply need families, and many families do not want them. That is extremely sad to us. It is an illness that is easily controlled with the proper medication now, but the stigma still exists. Seeing these poor children wasting away rips our hearts apart, and we must do something about it. Some people are called to adopt children with Down Syndrome or Cerebral Palsy, and at this point in our lives we are called to adopt children with HIV.
